Vegetables and pregnancy

Vegetables and pregnancy

If you do not like greens, it is still important that within 3 to 4 weeks after the beginning of your pregnancy you usually eat plants at every meal, trying to include plants and vegetables of different colors.

Persons who do not practice will find easier to begin with those of sweet taste like peas, carrots, green bean, pumpkin, tomato, asparagus and lettuce.

Don't forget that it is crucial to have a good level of folic acid. This essential vitamin during the first months of pregnancy is in most of greens, pulses, breakfast cereals and seeds.

Don't forget to properly wash all plants carefully and take a folic acid supplement to compensate for shortcomings
